Hi everyone,

i develope php so i probably know a bit what im talking about :-)

I would like to add my own tag for "[item][/item]" to replace the content with a class called itemstats, which is used to show world of warcraft ingame information.

Does anyone in what script i get the chat content to parse and replace?

thanks for your help,

i3

I'm not sure I follow your question... are you wanting to make a new command?

i would like to integrate a new functionality, on what way i don't mind. There are multiple possibilities i guess.

One would be to insert a tag, like and put it onto a button. I would have to parse that tag in php and replace it with some diffrent information.

Another possiblity would be to crate a new command called "/item $itemname" for example. Than i would have to replace $itemname.

I guess my favorite would be an new button like the bold or italic button. Someone types in a name, than the client posts [item]Big Axe[/item] to the server, which will replace the [item]Big Axe[/item] with a link from a database.

How would [item] establish what the link is? A query to the sql database based on what's inbetween the tags?
