The messages don\'t appear anymore in the chat window

The chat worked fine, until at one moment the messages don't appear anymore. You can write them, but you can't see them. In the log file, the messages are stored. So, what could be the problem?

I have the same problem ..Only difference is it never showed any messages.Someone knows what the problem is ?

I've actually seen a similar problem with my set-up... I get the feeling it's a core problem, but I'm not sure where the issue is coming from. If I have time this weekend I'll look into it.

I gave all the permissions to the folder,even tried to open new folders for sessions ut none of them worked.Still no messages are appearing in the chat window.
Sorry to post the same stuff again but any help would be appreciated.

try to delete in this directory:
../data/private
next files
cache
chat
logs

rm -R cache
rm -R chat
rm -R logs

after thate start CHAT normaly

This bug is fixed in 1.0-final, did you try to upgrade ?

I am using 1.0-final.It works on my local but not on the server.

I've seen a similar behavior for IE users on private chats. The user get's messages until the window is full and then somehow it doesn't scroll anymore. It seems to be reproduceable only in certain versions of IE.
