Problem in setting the language, and file deletion in data/

I have a problem regarding language on the 1.0-final version.
I added this in the index:
$params["language"] = "fr_FR";
When I connect to the chat with Konqueror, I am in the "Mon salon" chat room, as expected. However, with Firefox I am in "My room". Firefox is in French, with fr-fr as default.

Why such a different behavior ?

And each user (one per browser) is alone, as they are in different chat rooms.

A second question: when modifying the configuration, which files should I delete in the data/ directories?

Yes, no effect.

It was a fresh install.
What would do a /rehash? And how can I be an admin?

Concerning your second question : theoretically you should not have to touch something in data/ directory, everything should be do by the chat interface (when it works...)

Ok, i was able to reproduce the problem.
In fact this is due to your Firefox session. I think you first loaded the chat in english (so "My room" was joined by default) and after that you changed the parameters but you didn't killed your FF session so "My room" just stay as long as you close it or you kill you session.
To fix the problem, i suggest to close your Firefox window in order to kill its sessions.
