Is PFC able to be run behind several load balancers, if the data is shared?

I think using the mysql backend this shpould be not much of a problem, but does sharing the data dir (filestore) via network work?

You will have problems if you use NFS + pfc file container because filemtime php function will not work well.

Hm but in such a environment MySQL would be an option, wouldn't it?
Is the mysql container more performant than the file container?

Yes I think mysql container is a good choice for load balancing.
However, mysql container is a lot less performent than file container.
