When i show the chatbox (as first user) the online list of users is collapsed i can see the dotted lines of it but it is only 2 pixels high.
after a reconnect it shows perfectly

This is surely a IE behaviour ? could you try with Firefox or Safari ?

yes firefox does show the usersbox like it should...

on the demo it works fine but i set the nick like
$params["nick"] = $_GET["nick"];
not with the popupbox maybe thats makes a difference

No it's not a problem to use the GET parameter for nickname.

I think this problem is a CSS problem. If someone make a patch to fix it I will be pleased to integrate it but currently it's not a priority for me, I 'm concentrating on 1.0 release.
