Dark Theme?

I'm looking for, possibly, two separate things . .

I tried to modify the style file to make a dark theme . . and I failed miserably -- I've only recently started learning CSS, and I was beaten.

So -- Can someone either point me to a dark theme (or make one *hint*, *hint*)

Or -- can someone point me to documentation on what parts of the css file apply to what and/or write some!?

I'd be happy to help in any way -- even with my CSS ignorance!
