Errors (HTTP and XML) and corrupted files

If I just leave the chat open, I get multiple Windows Internet Explorer Errors in IE7. This happens with my modified index.php and the original demo index.php sent with the beta 9.

Errors say things like . . .

Error: the server returned the following HTTP status: 500 . . . .

and

Error: the XML response that was returned from the server is invalid . . .

I've tried PHP 4 and 5. my safe_mode is off. I have ctype function enabled.

When I check5md the following files are corrupted . . .

I've reinstalled all of them to no avail.

The chat room works, I just keep getting error messages popping up on the screen.

Any clue what's causing this?

Is it something on my end? Error reporting?

(can I just say that I think that phpFreeChat is awesome! I just want to figure out what I did wrong.)

I have this exact same problem in both IE and Firefox. I see you got the chat working on your page and am curious what you did to resolve it? Thanks.

My chat works, but if you leave it open you will get the errors. (the most common one is this one.)

any clue what causes this? could it be the corrupt files?

I have exactly the same problem. After a while this pop up appears.

Have anyone an idea to solve this bug ???
