Layou options

It would be great if one could adjust the layout options.
I would love to have input field with more than just one line or as an adjustable textarea that still works with "enter" for submitting for more narrow chats and have all the smilies and options, bbcode and so on on the right of the text area. I think that would be a more intuitive layout.

Would that be possible?

that woule be possible i think, but only the textarea doesnt make the layout more intuitive.
