Beta 9 Errors

Hey, I have tried putting BETA 8 on my site, and it didn't even initilize, so I tried Beta 9. It opened but then I received about 20 erorr popup windows with a dialogues similar to the one in the image below:



By the looks of it, I'm guessing its a permissions error...

Did you change the chmod of your data/private directory?

You need to disable the debug option or to try with this new pre beta9 :

Yes, maybe there really is a debug problem. But how can the command be disabled?

Just comment the $params['debug'] = true; line

I tried deleting the $params['debug'] in phpfreechat.class, but I received errors...

So I'm guessing that is not the right place to do that...

Do it in your chat script. If you didn't create your own script, you are maybe using phpfreechat/index.php file as yoru chat script.

I had set the [debug] commabd to false. It appears to work; now I am 'only' receiving about 5 error messages. One of the is, again, related to the permission of the [tmp/debug] (If there is a way to CHMOD that, I'll be proud to know)
