Php errors on load

Hi all,

I am trying to integerate this chat program with phpbb and I followed the instructions in the contributions forum, but I am getting some weird errors.

I applied a fix specified in the Help forum, but the errors continue and when I load the chat page, my laptop CPU load shoots upto 99% freezing everything. I tried IE, Maxthon, Firefox all with the same result.

I get these errors even, when the I load the chat default index.php page.

and this keeps repeating. My server is running PHP 5.1.16. After months of trying out various chat programs, I thought I had found the ideal chat which not only integrates with PhpBB but also works of a flat file database, but I am plagued with this error.

I guess that you didn't set file permissions right?

I seems you have problems connecting to your mySQL Database.

Thanks for you response. I am aware that 24/7 response is not possible. But I posted this same thing in help about 5 days ago and got no response. So I thought I maybe posted in the wrong thread.

I have CH Modded both public and private folders and the data directory to 777. Still same problem. In fact the 1.07 beta download does not contain a public folder. So I created one and then CH Modded it to 777.

I run a PhpBB forum and a Joomla website and the connection to the MySQL database is not bad. Could be the reason for the chat within my forum.

But I used to get the same errors even when I load the default PFC index.php file, when no connection to MySQL is made. I reuploaded the whole thing again and now it says Javascript cannot be loaded.

I also ran a MD5 validation and got the following errors:

Does PFC require to be uploaded in a ASCII or binary mode? I am using auto setting with Filezilla.

Another question is does zlib compression cause problems? I am using a .htacess hack to prepend zlib compression on all php and html files in my sub-domain.

The Problem with corrupted files may be solvedn by uploading via "binary" mode.
With Joomla/phpBB integration or zlib compression I cannot help - sorry not my scope

Yes I allready had problems with gzip output compression enabled... This could make the chat loading very very slow (1 or 2 minutes!!).
Could you try to disable the gzip on a chat demo ? Maybe an url could help us to debug your problem.
