had my chatrooms working locally but having the following problem installing it on my webserver,
have changed the permissions to data/private and data/public to 777.

the only problem I am having is I am struggling to upload a file called myprototype.js, and I am getting javascript errors on my chatroom (i am assuming it has obviously has todo with the fact that the js file is only partially uploaded or not uploaded)

should i speak to my isp or is this related to phpfreechat?

Sometimes FTP client don't upload exactly the files content in ASCII mode. Try to switch your FTP client un binary mode and reupload the file.

hello

seems weird. looks like everything is uploading in binary. its only this one file not uploading.

I am using wsftp and have also tried smartftp.

going to call the isp and will try and find out why. (seems like its only uploading to 18k - then stops - the file is 39k)
