It works perfect on Apache under Linux, but does not work on Windows server. I always get error "_Your should be connected to send a message_" with 1.0-beta4. User name does not appear in contact list also.

Does anyone have an idea how to install phpFreeChat on Windows correctly?
Today I tried versions 1.0-beta4, 0.5, 0.9.3 and nothing work.

Thanks,
Alex

The answer is simple : because I'm a linux user and testing the code on windows is a lot of pain because I don't have a windows at my desktop...

However I try to make the code crossplateforme so I will look at this next time I will have a windows on my hands.
Can I ask you which server are you using on windows ? xampp, esayphp, ISS ?

Moreover, I'm offcourse very open to any help on this hard task : windows debuging. :)

I tried it with Apache and IIS on Windows.
I'm expecting receiving of linux server at nearest time so I will not spend a lot of time on Windows debugging :)

I had the same problem.
Check up sassion.save_path in php.ini. It should exist

The chat stopped working when I swithed from Apache to IIS on the same server. On another server, it stopped working on IIS when I installed the latest beta. Pre .4 versions worked ok.
