We currently have www.thevirtualreality.co.uk working on our paid for server www.thevirtualreality.co.uk. However we are currently moving to a new dedicated server running windows 2000 and IIS, we have the forum but going to the chatroom displays this error message:

"_Error: the chat cannot be loaded! two possibilities: your browser doesn't support javascript or you didn't setup correctly the server directories rights - don't hesitate to ask some help on the forum_ www.phpfreechat.net/forum"

I have changed the CHMOD settings for data/private and data/public to 777
We have moved all the files from the original server across and
Copied the database across

What do you think we need to do?

Just found out we didn't have permissions to change the CHMOD permissions. Anyone got any ideas of how to do that in IIS?

Exactly The same Problem I have.

I belive 'we' have the same host, and usually you can mess around with the, permissions in the control panel. We both have assigned inherited permissions, so we both will not know what those permissions are. Our control panel will not allow us to figer this one out.

Have you solved the problem. ?

We have the same problem.
