Hi,

I'm so sorry to rant about this issue again. But using latest SVN revision of phpFreeChat, first private message is often lost. Tab opens at receivers side, but the window is blank. Messages following first message are shown.

This happens often. Sorry I can not be more specific. But I've seen this bug now, ever since the 1.x branch.

Sorry but as I'm not able to reproduce this bug on my machine, I can't debug it. :(
However I'm open to integrate any patches to fix the problem...

I'm seeing this problem, too. What appears to happen is that the first private message activates the room, and the other person joins the room, but doesn't see the first message as that message occured before he joined. Perhaps it has something to do with setting max_msg = 0?

Yep - I tried setting max_msg = 1 and I got the first private message!

Maybe in a private window, the max_msg setting should always be ignored and, basically, infinity used?

Just saw that this was apparently fixed in subversion. Thanks again.
