Chat.log - all messages stored?

Hi,

are all message ever written stored in the file chat.log?
I just want to go sure, that this is true.

I remeber that in an older chat version, the messages were deleted after a while (so the file didn't to too big).

It is important for me, that the messages are not deleted. So please tell me, if they are all stored in this chat.log file.

Yes, chat.log is never deleted, it contains all the chat messages.
