Hi there . I tried to install phpfreechat (1.0 - beta 4) on a apache&php5 server and i get this strange error :

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/virtual/r.webmaker.ro/chat/src/pfcglobalconfig.class.php on line 487 .

The same scripts on a php 4.31 machine works just fine (it crashed on a 50 users load but that's another story) .

Here is my phpinfo page : http://new.themoneychannel.ro/i.php .
Any suggestions / anybody had the same problems ?

Thank you

hm..i managed to install the chat . Unfortunately at about 70 users is throttles apache (on a P4 3GHZ dual core , 1Gb ram)...The whole system crashed as i had about 5000 connections on the port 80...
Any hardware recommendation /apache confiuration (keepalive ON/off) , etc ?

I suggest to keep connexions alive yes.
And I suggest to change the refresh_delay to 10 seconds so your server will be less stressed.

did you try with the 1.0-beta5 ? because in beta4 there is an annoying bug that will increase the disk space use and degrade the system performances.
