Hi,
Just installed phpFreeChat and my CGI log started growing. For every update the script does, a row is added to the log file (cut into several lines for obvious reasons):

PHP Notice: Undefined index: QUERY_STRING in
C:[long path deleted]phpfreechat-0.7srcphpfreechatconfig.class.php
on line 108

The culprit seems to be this one, if I am to believe the line number PHP reports:

if ($this->url_params == "") $this->url_params =
$_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"];

Other than that, it's working just great. :-)

I run it on Windows XP-Pro, under Abyss Web Server version 2.0.6, PHP is version 5.1.2.

Any ideas...? Just 30 minutes of chatting gives me a log file that's about 130 kb, with the same line over and over. Should I care about it, or should I try turning CGI logging off somehow?

TIA for any ideas you might have.

Never mind. Found the solution, I think.

Use an @ in front of it to shut PHP up. cgi-log still at 0 bytes after an hour. :-)
