If so, please include your entire code, using the [code ] and[/code ] tags (without the space).

What is the issue you are experiencing in detail? Text keeps repeating in the chat window. Sometimes as many as 5 times.

Are you seeing any error messages, such as javascript errors? No

Could someone tell me why the text keeps repeating when someone sends a message. It does not do it with each message but when it does it may repeat 4 or 5 times.

Unfortunately if that is so, we provide support to the STAND ALONE PHPFREECHAT 1.3 only, mainly because we had no acknowledge of plugin systems..

Seems even though I may be using a plugin the same problem has been reported by other users and you have admittedly dropped the ball on them as well..

it's so bad right now that for instance in "the game room" when using the quiz bot, you might see the score table repeat like 3 or 4 times... I even saw some messages repeating half a dozen times (6) etc. (and like the others said, refreshing the chat causes everything to go back to normal, and each message is only shown once as it should be)

To be frank with you we can only assist with official PFC not plugin we dont know this plugin got new thing of bugs, I 've replied to that thread, and the person replied back with an agreement that
he would change from host and get a VPS, this doesnt mean is necessary to have VPS or Dedicated server but meant that he could have had issues with his host, like me, Hostgator has too many restrictions they would even cap the httprequest or get to the limit to fast...

No sir we cant help you with plugins..
