How to customize php free chat

I have read alot of links regarding this and still cant get anything to work.I would like to give my chatroom a peronalized look to fit my gaming website/forums and would also like only my members to enter the chat rooms. I am very non tech savvy when it comes to this stuff if someone could help me with this i would even be willing to pay them i feel like such an idiot asking this question but there was no way to post a new topic in the how to link so please someone help me i would be extremely grateful!!!!

Hi,

Some of the important files that you will need to work with are:

"/themes/default/style.css.php" = this file has the CSS for the chat room itself.
"/themes/default/chat.html.tpl.php" = will have the divs and HTML tags for the chat room.
"/style/" = folder, you will encounter the CSS's for the exterior of PHPFREECHAT page, the green background and stuff.

I have foound those files in my ftp file manager but i dont know alot about how css works i didnt know if pple had teplates out there where i could just copy and paste in those css files so i could change the theme from that green to a more dark theme if someone could help me that would be great i just dont understand what any of that text means

or does anyone have a good css theme i can copy the css code from so i can overwrite mine and add my company logo
