Possible to run chat on non xhtml page??

Is it Possible to run chat on non xhtml compliant page with out puting it in a popup, Iframe or frame ??.

Whats the minimal xhtml and xml compliance needed for this chat to run..

I can just say that I have allready seen someone integrated succesfully pfc on iframe and frames.

The problem Im having isnt due to the page being xhtml or not...
Its becaues phpfreechat.class.php placed below the top of the page causes xml errors

This caused because the xml sent to the client contains any text above phpfreechat.class.php.
