Need to be registered user to login... ?

Hello,

I used to have phpfreechat wordpress plugin on my wordpress site and it worked perfectly fine, until latly, im not sure if i have meaby updated that plugin without paying attention or what but now its requesting people to register on my site before they can enter chat. So basicly it workes like this, when im logged into my wordpress site and im posting something and then click on chat, it loads and everything works fine. But if i logout from wordpress and try to enter chat, all im getting is need to be registered user to login.

anyone knows how i can fix this, aka make people just write their own nick name and enter chat. and is it possible for people to register their nickname somehow. In case someone else takes it.

There must be a setting to allow guess login,

you need to find this info with the plugin developer.

There is a setting in wordpress, there is actually a lots of settings but non of them work.

I've seen one more post about this on wordpress.org forums so i guess im not the only one having this problem. Hopefully someone with some more code skills could solve this. I dont think it should be hard to figure out for someone that have done it before...

check the admin panel, there should be a setting that specify if you only allow registered users to logging in the chat...

I don't have the plug-in so that's why cant give you the correct setting in WP admin panel

yes i know but it doesnt work. it doesnt metter if the box is chekked or unchekked.

Is there some kind of "hard code" to be inserted somewhere to by pass that completly... and allow unregistered users to use the chat, well... it would be great if they are forced to enter a nick tho.

check the box you are referring to and then as admin in the chat "/REHASH"..

see if that makes any changes..
