$params['admins']= array('username' => 'password');

- Code: Select all
$params['admins']= array('username' => 'password');
make sure you put the '' in the code..
where username is the name you want to make admin and
password the pass you wanna use..
to become admin you use the following:
1.- enter the chat with the nick you have put in the code, example "username"
2.- use the command /identify password
this way you become admin...

peppi wrote:so tell me what is there not to understand about me saying that its hard to understand some things here
peppi wrote:modifications are not really easy to find ( take a look at re*s.t.a.r.s.*2 webpage and his chatbox what are these addons,hacks,modifications?? http://radioscatrachas.info/chat/catrachitas.html )
they are not well documented most of the time the file to edit is not posted just the piece of script
peppi wrote:in my opinion you are the admin and developper so i think you should do more about these things
either delete them or edit them and make some rules about how to post hacks, addons, modifications this way noobs like me can understand them aswell
peppi wrote:so yes its not the most userfriendly chatbox and its not the most userfriendly hacks,addons,modifications
even the parameter page is very unfriendly
http://www.phpfreechat.net/parameters
no way a noob will understand these things
and for the developper/admin its 5 minutes to add the example's
$params['admins'] = array('your name' => 'your pasword');
$params["theme"] = "blune";
