PFC make me confuse!

I still experience some problems with PFC. It behaves so strange. Imagine this. I have the types of PFC.

A) Original version of PFC
B) My version, which has some rooms in left menu. Let's call it PFC_

1) I had this on server: /PFC_
But I experienced some problems:
- I try to open some rooms and it looks like no rooms open
- or I open rooms (e.g. 4 rooms) and I got report that I reached maximum number of records
- I run /rehash
- then I got report "You have to connect before you join a room."
... I could not find a error, so I loaded original version

2) So I delete /PFC_ and to the same directory I load original PFC, but to the same dir so it has name PCF_ now
I press F5 in browser
And now keep attention! What happens: this has no logic!
The old rooms from the deleted version show to me!
It has nos sense, how could it remember the old rooms when I totally deleted PFC_ ???

I get confused prom PFC more and more

I load my index.php. After reload chat worked fine. I wrote /rehash and I expected that the configuration would be visible immediately. No error found. But after time, it writes:

Why all the reports under chat window??? On every enter.

Note: the index.php of mine, loaded, is the one thing I loaded. No other changes made.

Now I cannot rehash. I could before, but now not. I didnot change passwords...

So I configurate
$params['admins'] = array('bob' => 'bob');

But I don't know how to login. From the chat input area? But how? command like /nick or /identify does not work. I have no login window

You need to change your nickname with the name in the array('bob' => 'bob'); then use the command "/identify password" where password is the one you setup.... remember if the command rehash does'nt work you can with FTP delete the content /data/private/cache folder... hope this help...regards

OK, I GOT IT!

Problem is the cache file - was incorrectly set after installation:

'firstisadmin' => false, 'debug' => true,

Therefor (?) I couldn't login as admin (?).

I set 'firstisadmin' => true, 'debug' => false,

and can rehash now.

Why I did not delete the cache? This system is so crazy so I just worried what it would do again. But this is not final victory. I need to get back my changes.

New problem

the debug reports are displayed again. In cache it is disabled. In config (index.php params + globalconfig class) false.

Guys I think I will go mad from this...

NEW FEATURE CREATED
One positive thing. I added a property displaytabclosebutton to pfcGlobalConfig.class . This way you will not see the dialog box to confirm leaving room.

Watch out for this one,

I set 'firstisadmin' => true,

means that the first person going into the chat is ADMIN, so that needs to be FALSE... you must have something else wrong....regards...

Yesterday I checked it . There was debug = false, and today debug = true ... and this is it...

just to clarify at the top of this thread how to log in as the admin

you would set this up in your config, not the index

var $admins = array("yourname" => "yourpassword");

delete the cache file

you have to be logged in as yourname- "syntax has to be correct"

in the command line type /identify yourpassword

the chat will say Successfully identified and change your statice to an admin

also something good to know if your having trouble with a variable in cache just add it to the list of vars not to be cached, a good reason for this is if you get the result from a variable outside the chat that changes you would defiantly add it here

this happens when the chat has logged you out for inactivity but your browsers cache did not let you close, no fault to the chat

var $timeout = 35000; change this to a larger number in the config then delete the cache file
