I get this error after install and trying to access the chat:

Warning: main(/home/ibeo/public_html/phpfreechat-0.7/phpfreechat.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ibeo/public_html/phpfreechat-0.7/index.php on line 3

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/ibeo/public_html/phpfreechat-0.7/phpfreechat.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/ibeo/public_html/phpfreechat-0.7/index.php on line 3

I have also tried the setup.php with no results. It gives errors also.
Help please!
Thanks
Jim

wow very strange error.
Are you sure the require_once insctruction into phpfreechat-0.7/index.php point on the right file ?
- Did you modify index.php ?
- Does the demos works ?
- Could you copy/paste the index.php content ?

Clearly, the files are corrupted, your ftp upload was wrong.
Try to reupload the files. Or use the auto-extractible script (but you said to me that your server doesn't have gzip installed :().

I think I have exausted my efforts. I tried uploading 1 folder at a time
and still all is the same. I even downloaded a new copy of the zip file
with no success.

I had trouble with the zip files myself
use the Auto Installer (1st option on the download list)
that worked just fine for me

Unfortunately, jim's web server doesn't have gzip support, and the auto installer needs gzip ...
I'm sorry but I don't have a solution for now :(

It seems to work that time, but you already have some corrupted files. At least images...
