Missing parameter (/privmsg {nickname})

I have a new phpfreechat install and I get this message immediately when i try to chat.

I found a solution here on this forum but I am not confident it is correct.

Any other ideas on how to correct this and why it happens?

Error of installation:
"Notice: Undefined offset: 3 in /...domain.../phpfreechat-1.2-setup.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 611

The chat is acting but after refreshing personal calls are fading and there is an error message:

"Missing parameter (/privmsg {nickname})"
Installing 3 blows as well any time wrong.
No changes, clean consistent installation with instruction.
I apologise for my English, I am using the online-translator.

Look demo priv message and refresh - "Missing parameter (/privmsg {nickname})" priv chat disappears.
