Im New at this and i need help i know it sounds petty

Ive read the configurations but still no luck. i need some assistance setting up my chat. all i want for people to be able to create nick names and chat .

Need help. Is there like a ready made chat i can use but just change the Administrators password?

Just use the index.php chat. To set it so that people can set their own names, remove the entire nick parameter line (looks something like $params['nick'] = 'guest'.rand(1, 1000);).
