I\'m Lost with installation.

Ok, I have free godaddy account. PhpFreeChat is one and only one that godaddy offers and recommend for my account (linux and free). It installed successfully. What am I supposed to do after that? I assumed I am ready to use it, but doesn't work.

I'd tried the quick start, zip version, download, extracted, uploaded via ftp. permission to write on both private and public. So what am I missing? Is there a install/setup php that i need to run?

So, is this phpfreechat-x.x-setup.php file use by itself or with the script?

My screen doesn't look like Kaly Mochoev tutorial at all.

www.cavanh.com/chatphp <--manually uploaded. This one got isadmin error, need configure, but don't know how.

The isadmin can be corrected by deleting the isadmin-parameter in index.php

Nevermind this problem. it's Godaddy free account. The banner is messing with the coding.

OK on a different server no banner. Tried uploading the setup.php didn't work.
Tried. extract and upload. chmod 777 2 files.
got this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/l4rge/public_html/l4rge.com/c/h/a/chat/php/index.php on line 13

Well, let's see your index file... you have a syntax error, meaning something was mistyped. I can't really answer that without seeing the file.

It's the index file that I downloaded, untouched, unmodify.

Ok, reloaded the index.php file. It's working but got that message again.
The isadmin can be corrected by deleting the isadmin-parameter in index.php
So do I delete the whole parameters or just change true to false?
$params["isadmin"] = true; // do not use it on production servers

You can just remove that line.
