Users in separate xml file

It would be nice to read users and admin settings from a separate xml file, something like

I think that integration would be easier in custom applications then php editing. Wouldn't it?

As phpfreechat goal is to be integrated only in PHP application, for a PHP developer, I don't think it's easier to write XML than pure PHP.

I would agree with kerphi, your example, abx78, is much more complicated than the existing php (at least more typing). You could certainly design a user management system that worked that way if you wanted though.
