The 1.0-final version is finally released! This is the beginning of the new stable branch so 0.x branch will not be supported anymore by the phpfreechat team. In this release we did not add a lot of new features compared to the last beta release but we fixed major bugs and security isues. Moreover, i would like to give a big thanks to all the phpfreechat contributors and especially to King Moonraiser for his rigorous work these last weeks on the file corruption problem and on the user interface fixes.

Great job....I had previously installed from the SETUP php file and thought that was so easy. Any way you are going to do the same for the final version?

The problem with the setup is that the program i used to generate this setup doesn't work anymore and the developer doesn't seams to maintain it.
The program is http://webinstall.sourceforge.net/

Has the bug that prevented phpfreechat from loading in IE7 been fixed?

To protect data, yes, but not for it's function as far as I know.
