Hi out there..

I need to have the mediamedia-pluginin the same window where pfc is running. Only at Opera it wouldn't start. It's still displaying 'Chat loading'. After about 20seconds I can press ESC and the Chat starts.
If I disabled the Mediaplayer-Plugin, the chat runs without any problem. First I thought, some (Html/Css)-Tags will make problems, so I put it into frames. The Frame above contains the mediaplayer-plugin and the frame at the bottom only the chat. But it doesn't matter if frames or not.
I would available for any questions and suggestions,

Greetings Dirk..

Hi..

Well, Mediaplayer ist content auf Windows. You can add that player as Plugin in nearly every Browser, that runs under Windows.

Here's the code (placed in a simple frameset):

Code: Select all
         <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
            <tr>
               <td align="center" valign="middle"> <embed height="45" name="wmp" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/netshow/download/player.htm" src="http://[IP-ADDRESS]:[PORT]" type="application/x-mplayer2" id="wmp" swliveconnect="true" width="207" border="0" ShowControls="1" ShowPositionControls="0" AutoStart="false" DisplaySize="1">
                  </object></td>
               <td class="Wunschbox" align="center" valign="middle" nowrap><a class="wb_Link" title="Einfach Titel, Interpreten und GruÃ? rein schreiben" href="http://wunschbox.soundradio-one.de" target="_blank">-> Wunschbox <-</a><br>
                  <font size="1" face="Microsoft Sans Serif">(Einfach Titel, Interpreten und Gruß rein schreiben)</font></td>
            </tr>
         </table>

However, past week it runs as planed ;-). No problems. Don't ask me why.. Maybe cache cleared up, maybe "unknown" param changed..

One more thing: It is really importand to delete the session... When a User gets into the chat, he keeps his previous name (Name is given into the params). Also I need to transfer the SessionID of the previous program, but pfc still remembers the previous ID. How can I fix this? Several solutions as found in this Forum doesn't work, because noone will exit the chat and or other application through clicking on Logoff oder something..

Greetings..

Hi again..

I can not find the problem. But, I figured out, that Opera sometimes shows the "Loading-Window" till the user hits the escape-key. It doesn't matter if media-plugin or not. It seems, the frameset makes trouble. But I'm not sure yet.
Mostly I have no problems (not often to press esc), but many people have often. Any Idea where the problem is?

I'm using Opera 9.22 for Windows.

Greetings
