Connect phpfreechat with mysql?

For the past two days i've googled everything about hooks, pfc and mysql, and i couldn't find a thing about it.
So i thought you guys could help me.

Is there a way to connect PFC with mysql?.
So that members don't have to login everytime and they can't pick a different name then their "user" name in the database.
So they are stuck with it.
