quick question about the chat message appearance

hello so in the chat window peoples messages are posted and seen like this:

‹user› sg
‹user› BINGO!!!
‹user› dfh



how would i make it viewed and posted like this:

user
sg
user
BINGO!!!
user
dfh


notice how the symbols at either end of the nickname are gone and that the messages appear underneath, also i would like to have it so the nicknames are underlined.

could anyone help me out with this please, or point me in the right direction?

that's created in pfcclient.js, look for the function that parse the message...

ok i managed to remove the <> from either end of the nickname
i just need to figure out how to have the nickname underlined and have messages appear underneath nicknames instead of inline with it
