Dear phpfreechat community,

I saw alot of comments and posts about a wordpress plugin. Also on the wordpress plugin site i've found alot of people who use(d) it.

But now I also see, the plugin is 'removed' like everywhere.

Still, me and a partner are working on a new community site where we use wordpress/buddypress. We need a great chat like phpfreechat. But we want users be able to login with the wordpress/buddypress-profiles. (Like a integration)

Does anyone have the plugin wich is removed? I would be very thankful if someone could upload it for me..

Or idea's how to do the wordpress integration with phpfreechat on a other way besides the plugin(?)

Thank you for your'e time and I'm sorry for my cheap English!

This is VERY relevant to myself as well. Infact, pretty much the exact same situation.
I've looked at virtually all the various chat plugins, but none can compare with phpfreechat for functionality, stability and speed. Only exception being IRC, but that's an external service (and we're trying to move away from that).

There was this one posts http://www.phpfreechat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4389 that detailed integration without the plugin, but that was about 2 years ago. If anyone has a solution, now would be a great time to share it.

I concur with Blukkie.

Even if it was an earlier version, I tried looking for said wordpress plugin but found nada. I'm trying to figure out how to integrate phpfreechat with wordpress and buddypress.

I did notice another thread elsewhere on the forums, but it was over 2 years old, and though I've attempted to copy the code from it, I think it may be out of date at this point.

Essentially all I'm trying to do is getting the user names used in Buddypressto be used in phpfreechat, and allow forum moderators and administrators to have ops/mod controls.

Phpfreechat has so far surpassed all the other wordpress chat plugins. If only it was an actual plugin.

PFC is a stand alone chat, but you or others are welcome to write an appropriate plugin. Our expertise is not in wordpress, nor is it likely our developer will put precious development time into creating a plugin for specific software, when the stand alone software has things that need work. I'm sorry, but I just wouldn't count on it happening. Try talking to the folks in the word press community and see if you can talk one of them into being interested, they have the experience that would be much faster than us trying.
