You're simply not providing us with enough information to help you. Imagine going to a mechanic and saying "I left my car at home, but it's not working properly, what's wrong?"
Wordpress 2.8.5, WP Church theme Hosted on Yahoo Small Business
I have phpfreechat installed and am using phpfreechat shortcode on a page. When I try to start the chat it hangs on chat loading....please wait. I can log in to my server and select chat dot php file and the chat program loads and works fine. I can also type the full url to www.myblog.org/wp-content/plugins/phpfreechat/chat.php (not the real address) and the chat works. The problem I am having is that the chat will not load when called for in my page. I also tried hardcoding it in a seperate page template with the same results. Sorry I didn't provide that info prior.

phpfreechat gets interrupted on loading when another plugin or theme does something it doesnt like
go to yoururl.com/wp-content/plugins/phpfreechat/chat.php and see if the chat loads that way, if it does that means there's a conflict with a plugin on your main page
Well Finally. we made a new page template and stripped the header from it and now we have a working version of Phpfreechat. Here is the page template we made. It seems our problem was theme related.
<?php /* Template Name: Default Chat */ ?> <?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> <div class="post" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>"> <h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2> <div class="entry"> <?php the_content('<p class="serif">Read the rest of this page »</p>'); ?>
