How do I integrate phpFreeChat with Joomla 1.0.15?

Sorry if I am asking the same questions. I have probably read too much php Jargon.
I am using Joomla 1.0.15 and I just installed phpFreeChat.
I can esily link the chat forum to my webiste as is, but how do I separate the chat window from it's surroundings, OR change the surroundings away from proividing my users with Documentation Information that instructs on how to manipulate the forum and more to fit my website's themes?

I am just getting used to editting php script, so please, be gentle.
