JBFchat and nobody can be an admin

Hello

I changed the default name admin to alex123 and changed default password and I still cannot be admin. Cannot run op or deop command.
I did not use registration to participate in chat. No direct integration with Joomla, just using component. Joomla 1.5.

Could you please help? How to make someone an admin? And only one person and not all by default.

You need to log into joomla as an admin, using whatever username you set up in the jpfchat settings for admin capability.

In other words, jpfchat won't recognize you as a jpfchat admin, unless you are logged into joomla using that particular username AND that username is also listed in the jpfchat settings as a jpfchat admin.

so i am looking to use the jpfchat but the download site seems to be down and has been for some time,, is there any way to get the component from some where else?
