Help on direct integration using joomla

Hi , actually i tried utchat joomla extension. however it is not working for. i tried to download and install the phpfreechat version here in the site. now i wonder how can i directly integrate it to my website meaning i want only registered users can access. what to add on the index.php file to integrate it to my joomla site..

Am I missing something or is your way of thinking maybe a little to complex

You don;t have to change anything in your index as far as I know.
Install the component.
Simply add a new menuitem
Choose component as the type and point it to utchat.
Next set the access level to registered
Save and it's done.

use in meni make new put i to be wrapper and then put the link ! it will be inserted in your template !! bye
