Joomla 1.0.15

Hi...

I downloaded utChat 0.9.2 today and installed the component on my Joomla 1.0.15 site... and added the component to the main menu.

When clicked, the message "Please wait, loading Chat" comes, but the chat window never loads.

I also download phpFreeChat separately, and installed it on my website. It works fine as a standalone script. I then tried replacing the pfc folder in the component with new 1.1 version, but that didn't work either.

Can you please help me figure out what might be wrong? You can access my site at shsmath.com. Everything associated with utChat is Public at this time.

Ok... it's now working for me as a component. Too bad there's no help available here. I could have used a couple of early responses to get me on the right track.

So... I've completely re-written much of the utChat component. I've based my rewrite on the utChat code... but I'm using phpFreeChat 1.1 instead of the 10 Beta11 that it's based on.

I've also translated all the french GUI language stuff into English. utChat had only a french admin screen available.

I'm now in the process of revising the Admin pages of the utChat component to include all the new settings. It's working... and I'll be glad to share it with others once I'm done with it. I'll post it on the Joomla.org website under the name jPFChat.

Hi there, sorry for my poor english, but I'm also very interessted for a Joomla 1.0.15 component using version 1.1 of phpFreeChat. Also can't make UTchat work

Feel free to contact me and become closer find a result for this problem, there is no good chat integration for using with Joomla 1.0.15 (I will help with a german translation if I get a component and module)

I have posted jPFChat on joomla.org for Joomla 1.0.x

I will be adding Joomla 1.5.x native support very soon, also under the same name of jPFChat.

Hi tmilo,

I download your com/mod after registered on this site, and install at my site. But it won't work correct. So the users can't access to the chat, all users go into the chat will be "guests", the other thing ist, that no tabs shown for the rooms, I have create 3 rooms (lounge,flirt,webradio) but if you enter, always as guest and can't change the room

Pls help, you can visit the site at www.after-work.at and than on left side, mainmenu bottom "Chatroom (TESTNEU)" for have a look
