New Forum Rules

I've adjusted my 'personal support policy' to be more workable for forum rules, clearing out my personal requests and adding in the forum rules I had already been enforcing. The reason for the change is to make it seem more necessary for new users to get aquatinted with the resources that folks have taken time to put together before the post for help... and also to make help requests more clear and provide us with a better way of understanding the problem. It's important to realize that the only change here is that users are expected to read the resources we have provided there, and use the support template if they need support. I was already requiring this for my support, so it's not a large step for anyone, and I feel is fairly reasonable. The rules, as I mentioned, are all ones that were already being enforced, but I thought it would be appropriate to have them somewhere they could be read and referenced.

I'm asking that all regulars help me to get these rules regularly used. If you notice that someone is asking a question we already have covered in the required reading, please share the rules and resources thread with them (you're welcome to give them an answer as well, but the goal is that people take note of these rules and resources!).

I'm also happy to hear suggestions on other resources, policies, or changes that you think should be included in that thread.
