Hello,

I just submitted on the subversion trunk the first part of 1.0 release features :
- multi-channels (/join command)
- private messages

A demo is available here : http://www.phpfreechat.net/demo/pfc-trunk/
You can checkout the source code on the subversion :
Code: Select all
 svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phpfreechat phpfreechat

Be tolerant on the bugs, it's just a preview.
However, I open to any kind of help :
- bug report,
- patches,
- ideas ...

regards,
phpfreechat

This is a development version so I don't want this version to be used on production this is the reason I didn't provide a zip ...
However you can download the lastest version using a subversion client (on windows it exists tortoisesvn).

It looks great.
Do you have something like a newsletter anouncing new releases?

When you click on different tabs to go into different rooms, it shows you the top of the chatroom instead of the bottom. I'm guessing this isn't intended?

Oh, I'm wrong. What was happening was when you clicked to on the tab to go to the different chatrooms. It went to the top of the page of the chat? Rather then the bottom where all the new messages are. Either I was wrong or you have fixed it. Its fine now. Really good Job!!!

Can you approximately estimate when the version 1.0 will be ready ?

And is 100% sure it will have the kick/ban feature ?

I need these info to decide wich chat system use in a project.

Hi,
( My english is poor but i'll do my best ;-) )

Testing V1.0 with IE and FF with de same PC. Nicks : Test_IE / Test_FF

When i close the Private message with Test_IE, it opens the private message for Test_FF
and
When i close the Private message with Test_FF, it opens the private message for Test_IE

------------------------------------------------

At least, 1 button to join the Default room can be a good idea ;-)
Or
log off / Log on sequence reload default room.

------------------------------------------------

i recently discover phpFreeChat... (0.9.2 and now 0.9.3) Good Job, if i can help in the future, i'll do it.

Pascal.
