Scrolling Problem

Hello,
Few weeks ago I had a problem with scrolling behavior.
Scenario : 2 chat rooms opened.
the first one full of messages with scroll bar visible.
the second one opened with few messages in it.

A weird behavior happened :
when rolling hover the chatroom tab , or when second chatroom tab blinking , the scroll to bottom behavior was not working and it's was randomly moving from up to down , latest messages posted couldn't be seen.

So I downloaded the latest package , tested the same scenario.
in the demo files no problem occured , but in my design it was still happening even with the new package.

Step by step , I rebuilt the chat in my design and found the problem.
My design is a table based container with few rows and columns.

$chat->printChat(); was placed in one row.
When I moved it outside the table , bug stopped.
I placed $chat->printChat(); in a layer inside my table :
<div id="Layer1"><?php $chat->printChat(); ?></div>

Bug was fixed !

I assume it was due to some behavior with the scrolldown javascript and some css issues.

Anyway it works , without painful code modification.

So :
My conclusion : Any new design should be table less css based , and web standards compliant ( no bad table based design like mine ).
