smileys path wrong in post

Hello all - smileys show in sidebar fine - but when someone trys to post it in the chat, the image is missing. The path goes from this:

../chat/themes/default/smileys/msn_tongue.gif (in the sidebar)

to

../chat2/themes/default/themes/default/smileys/msn_tongue.gif (in the body of the chat)

where can I fix the path? Thanks in advance.

which version of phpfreechat are you using ?

Hello - I am using version 0.9.3

ok so what is your chat2/ directory ?
did you rename it to chat/ ?
did you try to close/open your browser in order to clear the sessions cache ?
