error tracking?

I wonder how i can track down errors...
Currently i develop a own proxy but it fails to connect to its database. I dont know how my proxy can talk to me, so i will be able to see the error message or output of the proxy.

Please, can anyone say how i can see what the server returns to an request?
(debug_ajax dont do anything?)
How can i send for example the output of a "$msg=print_r($array,true)" to this nice red box?

Currently there is no real debug functions...
I agree that I should add one :)

I will think about it. For now you can work with the xml_respons->addScript(...); function.
