This is a support request, not a how-to tutorial for other users. Moved to General Support.
Merging your two posts into one thread.

Please read the FAQ. If you still have questions afterwards post again.

I've posted nothing about forum rules, I've asked you twice to read the FAQ, because your answers are there. And I've been perfectly polite to you, despite the fact that you actively are ignoring what I'm telling you. Other forums would have locked this thread and given you a warning by now.

The problem is that we have an FAQ and our other documentation so that we don't waste time answering already asked questions that come up regularly. The documentation is there for you to educate yourself, and if you still have a problem beyond what's there, that's when the forum comes in.

If you can't be bothered to take the time to read what I already wrote up for everyone's benefit, why should I be bothered to take the time to give you an answer... particularly when I've told you twice where you answer is.

If you want my help, read what I've already written up. That's my expectation if you want help from me, it's as simple as that. I'm all about self-help and learning how to handle issues yourself... and I'm not going to rewrite what I've already written. That's why the FAQ and the documentation exists.

That all said, I'm happy to help you on issues not covered by the existing documentation and FAQ, or on clarifications if something isn't understood.

This is a realy nice forum NOT!!!!
Normal a staff or moderator are normally not as blunt as your do.. But oke everyone is diffrent.
U can also think people can't find it I post the link to the sollution then u have not this dusccusion........

I have read the topic about the disable history but its not working so thats why I post the question... I have set it to 4 but still all the history is visible........
And the question about if it possible to set a color for admins, moderators and members I not found and is not in the FAQ......

So thats why the 2 questions are posted, and if u ask before u handel like this, u had a answer and no discussion.
I have some other people that using the chat and having problems, but for now I don't send them over here, because my first opinion of this forum is not so good...

Maybe the forum is good and great, but u have made my first opinion with your reaction made not so good for now... This is no attack to u only a tip that you need to think about how u react to new or "older" members, because for now its not so good........

Greatings and have a nice day..........

Honestly, I believe you're being overly sensitive. I asked you twice to read the FAQ, and even included the word please. The bottom line is you're violating the forum rules, and rather than push that on you, I simply asked you to read the FAQ you were supposed to have read before posting. Then you complained to me because I wasn't being "nice" enough. So I explained exactly what you asked me, which was what the problem was.
Bottom line, if you want my help, you'll have the consideration to read what I've already written up for the benefit of everyone, and post your remaining questions afterwards.
AndroiDer wrote:U can also think people can't find it I post the link to the sollution then u have not this dusccusion........

The link is at the top of every forum, on the main website, and even in my signature. That said, if you weren't able to find it a simple "where is it?" would have yielded that answer from me.

AndroiDer wrote:I have read the topic about the disable history but its not working so thats why I post the question... I have set it to 4 but still all the history is visible........

Thus why I said "...post if you have further questions." Now that you've read it, and discovered how to do it, but are still having issues, I can help you resolve those issues.
Did you rehash? That was part of that documentation as well. If that doesn't work and you post the code, I can tell you if you've made a mistake.
AndroiDer wrote:And the question about if it possible to set a color for admins, moderators and members I not found and is not in the FAQ......

You did not post a question related to colors for the users. To answer that question, there is no chat setting for it, but I believe other users have worked out ways to do it. I would check the how-to forum and see if there's anything in there. If not, you'll have to write the modification yourself.

AndroiDer wrote:So thats why the 2 questions are posted,

No, your second question, which is still in this thread, was about how to disable username changes, which is covered in the FAQ.
AndroiDer wrote:and if u ask before u handel like this, u had a answer and no discussion.

You are entitled to your opinion, I am not particularly concerned.

Perhaps you need to consider what your expectations are out of complete strangers. As I said before, the FAQ is there to reduce questions which are regularly asked. When you can't be bothered to read up on the existing documentation, and get upset when you're told (politely, but specifically) to do that because the answers you're looking for are there, and then complain about how you're being treated because we wont serve you, it might not be me who has the issue. Just food for thought.

You as well.

Re: Disable Chat History

I think the person who asked the question maybe not english just like me. I think he didnt know what is rehash. I try to help with my words if its not problem:

So when you edited the files, you have to go to your chat as an admin. And you have to send a text to the chat (a message), this:
/rehash

If you did it well, you have to get a message under the text area. And that is ok, it means the modifications have happened already. So after this you have to refresh the chat and it is done.

(First when i read the FAQ i didn't understand it eihter but i hope with my words i could help.) If you still need help drop me a pm.
