Hi,

I'm currently working on a social network with Elgg, and I want to use phpfreechat for a global chat AND for group chats.

So, I would like one instance of phpfreechat for the global chat, and one instance for each group. To do that, in my phpfreechat script, I use $_SESSION['last_forward_from'] (which is the referer) to compute a md5 for the server id.

I have checked, the referer is always different for a group and the global chat.

But, if I use the same room name ("Main" for example), when I'm writing messages in one chat, these messages appear in the other chat ...

Is it normal ? Is it possible to really have different instances of phpfreechat ?

Thanks for your help !
Remy

Sorry ... I have just seen that $_SESSION['last_forward_from'] is empty ... So, I use $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] and now, it works !

Thanks for this good chat ;-)
