client / config / server php setup

I'm having an issue where some of the parameters are not taking when I add them to the config.php.

To be clear, I'm utilizing the client.php , config.php and server.php

I'm trying to add the parameter:
$params["channels"] = array("Main Room");

I've placed it in the config.php file and rehashed the chat but it doesn't open up with a tab named "Main Room"


I've been able to consistently change the name of the chat, but I can't seem to add default rooms. What might I be doing wrong?

Well I found out that if I closed the room with the wrong name, then refeshed the page, the correct room came up.
. I'm sure I'll have more questions in a bit.

I know that the proxy censor wasn't working previously for me but I'm testing all this on a fresh, clean install.

I'm back. I've searched the site and I'm still not sure of the answers.
Logically, to me, the *_config.php file should contain all the $params but then I'm still not sure what the function of the *_client.php and *_server are other than to break up the chat into chunks to manage.

In practice, it appears that some $params should go in the *_client.php and some in the *_server.php instead of the *_config.php.

Can this be confirmed by anyone?

Those documents doesn't exist in the official code, are you talking about a plugin if so.. unfortunately we don't support them because we don't know how was code...
