Hello, My website is a Christian website and we have added a chatroom. I was wondering if its possible when someone writes a verse for example John 3:16 to automattically hyperlink it to Biblegateway.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se ... version=60
Bible gateway makes it very simple since all we have to change is the code after verse. I don't understand much about the coding in phpfreechat if not I would do it. Please help.

Ex. Romanos 1:1
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se ... version=60

Ex. Exodo 1:1
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se ... version=60

(The space %20 is not necessary)
Thanks

Yes I think it's possible, you need to parse the data on the client side.
For example: search for BBCODE parssing and modify the function.

I was thinking of adding it just like pfc automatically adds the mailto when you type an email. I was thinking of using the tag [verse][/verse] but Im not really good at it. Can you tell me what are the files that I have to modify?

I don't know where to search for the BBCODE parse.

I would like to reopen this ticket/topic.... YOu helped me before but now I have upgraded to beta6 and it looks a little different
ok before I was able to change the code here
themesdefaulttemplatespfcclient.js.tpl.php and modify the code there so I would be able to use the above code but now the folder templates is not in the default thing and I can't find the pfcclient.js.tpl.php file. Please guide me to the file I need to modify in order to make this work. Thanks...
