Chat not working

I am trying to integrate phpFreeChat into my site.
Downloaded the package unzipped it and uploaded it through FTP.

Following is the url of a sample php page in which i am setting three parameters only.

$params["nick"] = "guest";
$params["title"] = "MaujMela Chat";
$params["channels"] = array("MaujMela");

title parameter doesnt seem to work, but that comes later, I am not getting the chat to work in the first place.
Please guide what i am doing wrong, did i miss something for installation.

Hi,

Did you chmod "/data" folder to 777 to this folder and all subfloders?
I dont see any javascript error, check to see if you got all the file correctly upload...

Also this could be the cause of the issue

should be.

$params["nick"]     = "guest".rand();

After changing anything in the chat script , remember to rehash the chat so it can take the new parameters in account...
