Error with v1.7 and php 5.4

Hello,

I just moved my site to PHP5.4 .
The chat is running well but I can see this error on the number of users displaying page...

Strict Standards: Non-static method pfcGlobalConfig::_GetCacheFile() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /home/.../phpfreechat-1.7/src/pfcinfo.class.php on line 18

I can manage the code if you have an easy solution... Out of upgrading...
