How do you take the \"bleep\" out for bad words?

when someone types a bad word in my chat it bleeps it out with ****. is there any way to do away with this feature on my site?

Yes, there is a file in the src/ directory called globalconfig.class.php

There is a line: "censor" => array("words"=>array("fuck","sex","bitch","cunt"),"replaceby"=>"*"));

Just remove the words (or place one word that no one would type in), and it will not remove these words.

Modifying pfcglobalconfig is not the correct way.
